Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to crafterradesign.com and CRAFT Ai, operated by CRAFTERRA Design LLC (“CRAFTERRA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use our services. Our website and services are not intended for minors.

Website information

Website content is provided for general information and may be changed without notice. Descriptions, starting prices, examples, availability, and estimated timing do not create a binding project commitment. A design project begins only under the proposal, invoice, contract, or other written terms accepted for that project.

Online and In-Person Design

CRAFTERRA offers two distinct service paths. Fixed-price Online Landscape Design packages are delivered remotely, are available nationwide, and do not include an onsite property visit. Premium In-Person Landscape Design is available for select Southern California properties, begins with an inquiry and project-fit review, and is provided under a custom scope and custom quote. Only the services and deliverables stated in the applicable order or accepted written proposal are included.

Orders and project acceptance

Submitting payment for an online package creates an order request for the package and property scope shown at checkout. We may review the property information before accepting the project. If CRAFTERRA cannot accept or reasonably perform the purchased service, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund. A standard package applies only to its stated residential property scope; unusual, incomplete, commercial, multi-zone, or specialty work may require a separately approved custom scope.

In-Person Design inquiries

Submitting an In-Person Design inquiry does not create a design agreement, guarantee project acceptance, reserve a date, or require CRAFTERRA to visit the property. CRAFTERRA will review the property location, requested scope, travel requirements, scheduling, and available information. If the project is accepted for in-person service, CRAFTERRA will provide a custom written scope, fee, payment terms, and any applicable travel requirements before the onsite consultation is scheduled.

Online-to-In-Person credit

If a property is within CRAFTERRA’s in-person service area and the client requests a change before remote design work has begun, CRAFTERRA may review the project for In-Person Design. If CRAFTERRA accepts the project for in-person service, 100% of the amount already paid for the online package may be credited toward the custom In-Person Design fee. Conversion is not automatic. CRAFTERRA will provide the revised scope and any remaining balance before scheduling the onsite consultation.

Refunds and cancellation

You may request a full refund before CRAFTERRA begins reviewing your property information or performing design work. Submitting the project intake alone does not end refund eligibility. Once CRAFTERRA begins reviewing your property information or performing design work, the service is nonrefundable. If CRAFTERRA cannot accept or perform the purchased service, CRAFTERRA will issue a full refund. Complimentary CRAFT Ai concepts have no cash or refund value.

Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing timely, accurate, and lawful photographs, measurements, property information, constraints, inspiration, and feedback. You remain responsible for verifying ownership boundaries, easements, utilities, HOA requirements, permits, codes, field conditions, and contractor qualifications. Missing or inaccurate information may delay work or require a changed scope or additional fee.

Revisions, changes, and timing

Standard packages include one consolidated 2D revision unless the written order states otherwise. Revision comments should be submitted together in one clear set. Additional rounds, changes after approval, newly disclosed conditions, or work outside the purchased scope require written approval and may require an additional fee. Published turnaround times are estimates that begin after complete intake materials are received; they are not guarantees.

Onsite consultation and documentation

During an accepted In-Person Design service, CRAFTERRA may discuss the property and project with the client, photograph relevant existing conditions, and take practical field measurements needed for conceptual design development. These observations and measurements do not constitute a professional land survey, boundary determination, engineering, architectural services, grading or drainage plans, permit documents, utility location, or verification of easements, codes, or actual construction conditions.

Design deliverables and professional boundaries

CRAFTERRA provides conceptual residential landscape design and visualization. A scaled 2D landscape concept communicates layout, planting locations, material direction, and lighting intent for contractor discussion. Unless a separate signed agreement expressly states otherwise, deliverables are not construction documents, surveys, architectural or landscape-architectural services, structural or civil plans, grading or drainage plans, engineering, electrical plans, permit drawings, or guaranteed HOA or agency approvals. Appropriately licensed professionals must prepare or confirm any services, details, specifications, approvals, or field decisions that require a license or site verification.

Construction and contractor responsibility

CRAFTERRA Design LLC provides landscape design services and does not perform construction under these Terms. Construction is contracted separately between the client and the client’s selected contractor. The contractor and other qualified local professionals are responsible for field verification, construction means and methods, engineering, permits, code compliance, final quantities, safety, scheduling, pricing, and adapting the conceptual design to actual site conditions.

CRAFT Ai concepts

CRAFT Ai creates automated visual inspiration from user-provided photographs and preferences. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, impractical, or inconsistent between generations. They are not surveys, measurements, construction documents, engineering or architectural services, permit drawings, planting specifications, cost estimates, safety advice, or a substitute for professional review of actual site conditions. Do not build, purchase materials, obtain bids, or seek permits solely from a CRAFT Ai image.

Your submissions

You represent that you have the right to upload and use every photograph, instruction, and other item you submit and that your submission does not violate another person’s rights or law. You grant CRAFTERRA and its service providers a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and transform submitted content only as reasonably necessary to operate the requested service, maintain security, and enforce these Terms.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the site; bypass generation limits; interfere with security or operation; submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or malicious content; attempt unauthorized access; reverse engineer protected systems; scrape the service at scale; or use CRAFT Ai output to misrepresent an actual completed project. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our users, or others.

Intellectual property

The CRAFTERRA name, logo, website, original copy, layouts, design materials, and other studio content are owned by CRAFTERRA or used with permission and are protected by applicable law. After full payment, you may use final paid deliverables for your own property and contractor discussions, subject to any separate written agreement. You may not resell, sublicense, claim authorship of, or reuse the deliverables for another property. Because AI-generated output may resemble other content and may not qualify for exclusive protection, we do not guarantee exclusivity or ownership of any free CRAFT Ai concept.

Payment disputes

Please contact us promptly at hello@crafterradesign.com if you believe a charge is incorrect or a service issue has occurred. This gives both parties an opportunity to review the order, communications, intake, work status, and applicable refund terms. Nothing in this section waives rights provided by law or a payment-card issuer.

Third-party services

The site may use or link to third-party services, including Wix, HoneyBook, OpenAI, and payment or communication providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices. CRAFTERRA is not responsible for third-party sites or services outside our control.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and complimentary CRAFT Ai service are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or that any concept can be safely or lawfully constructed. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRAFTERRA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or complimentary CRAFT Ai service. CRAFTERRA’s aggregate liability relating to the complimentary website or CRAFT Ai service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. Limits applicable to purchased design services are governed by the applicable written project agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not governed by a separate written project agreement will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in California, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.

Changes and contact
