Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CRAFTERRA Design LLC (“CRAFTERRA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a California company, collects, uses, discloses, and retains information through crafterradesign.com, CRAFT Ai, and our project-intake services.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, ZIP code, referral source, property photographs, project location and characteristics, landscape preferences, requested features, communications, inquiry details, transaction information, and technical data such as IP-derived identifiers, browser information, timestamps, and usage records. If you request or receive In-Person Design, we may also collect the property address, scheduling information, onsite consultation notes, photographs of relevant existing conditions, and practical field measurements created during the visit.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve our website, generate CRAFT Ai concepts, enforce complimentary-use limits, respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, prepare and perform design services, coordinate accepted onsite consultations, prepare custom scopes and proposals, process transactions, maintain security, prevent misuse, comply with law, and protect our rights. We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
CRAFT Ai and property photographs
CRAFT Ai sends the photograph and selected project preferences to an artificial-intelligence service provider to create a conceptual landscape image. CRAFTERRA processes the uploaded photograph for the generation request and does not intentionally publish it or save the photograph in the CRAFT Ai lead record. Generated concepts are inspiration only and are not construction plans, permit drawings, planting specifications, or professional site analysis.
In-Person Design information
When you request In-Person Design, we use the submitted property and project information to assess service-area and project fit, communicate with you, and prepare a custom scope when appropriate. If an onsite consultation is accepted and scheduled, we may use property-access and scheduling details to coordinate the visit and may create photographs, notes, and practical field measurements to develop the agreed design service. We do not intentionally publish this property information without permission.
Service providers and disclosures
We may disclose information to providers that help us operate our business, including Wix for website hosting and content management, HoneyBook for inquiries and client workflows, OpenAI for CRAFT Ai image processing, and providers supporting payments, analytics, security, communications, and professional services. These providers process information for limited business purposes. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business reorganization.
Payments and transactions
Payment information is submitted to our payment and commerce providers. CRAFTERRA does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers on its own website servers. We retain order, amount, contact, and transaction-status information needed to fulfill purchases, keep records, address disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention
Inactive CRAFT Ai submissions and prospect records are generally retained for up to 24 months after the most recent interaction. Security and rate-limit records are generally retained for 30 to 90 days. Client, contractual, transaction, and tax records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer when reasonably necessary or required by law. Privacy-request and opt-out records are retained only as needed to document and honor the request. Our service providers may maintain information under their own documented retention schedules.
California privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and verification, California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information and may request information about its collection and disclosure. You may also have the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing where applicable. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right. To submit a request, email hello@crafterradesign.com. We may request information needed to verify your identity and request.
Cookies and analytics
Our site and service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for site operation, security, preferences, performance, and analytics. Browser controls may allow you to limit some of these technologies, although portions of the site may then work differently.
Browser privacy signals
Because browser privacy controls and legal requirements continue to evolve, our response to signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control may depend on the technologies active on the site and applicable law. You may contact us to exercise a privacy choice directly.
Your choices
You may decline optional fields, avoid using CRAFT Ai, adjust browser cookie controls, or ask us to stop non-transactional communications. Transactional, security, legal, and project-service messages may still be sent when reasonably necessary.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Minors
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or requests may be sent to CRAFTERRA Design LLC at hello@crafterradesign.com.
